Currently I've been in therapy for depression for over a year now. The Prozac isn't working and I can't stand living any longer! I've cut myself before (please don't say I'm "emo". I hate it when people label). Do you think I have a major issue with depression? I just wanted to know if anyone had the same thing happen to them. So, any problems with depression?

Corny as it sounds, I think you just need to look at the positive aspects of your life, and focus on them... should help put everything in perspective Hope that helps

What you need to do is take a chill pill and calm down. Yes do as nick says and if your stressed out or depressed or both just play some video games. Make sure it's one your good at too. When you win a destroy computer it makes u feel soooooo much better and w/e happened before or w/e it is doesn't really bother you as much. If you don't have video games just go out and buy one quickly. Maybe a old system cause they're a lot less MONEY and so are they're games.

I wouldn't say you had a major issue with depression unless it's gotten to the point that you're hurting yourself or stopped taking care of yourself. Like Nick said, try to focus on the positive things in life, it really does help. You get to laughing and having fun and you just forget all about it.
And yes, I had something similiar happen. I never went to see anyone for it or anything. But I was at the point that I wasn't sleeping much at all and I had almost stopped eating all together (before anyone says I went anorexic, no. I could give two shits less how much I weigh. I LOVE food too much to stop eating.) I'm still recovering, actually. I found that, as much as you might not want to, tell a trusted, good friend. That's what I did. I told two of my friends and they get on my ass all the time and third degree me about how much I've eaten or slept. It's difficult to deal with, but it can be overcome.

she said she cyt herself sooo basicly she has reached pure depresion. im sure things will work out for her. and for you w/e ur doing seems to be working so keep doing what your doing
