What do you think about same *** marriages/relationships and allowing *** couples to adopt children?
In my opinion, many view it as wrong, but I myself support it. I do not see why if two people love each other, regardless of ***, they shouldn't just be allowed to marry. Love is love, no matter the gender.
What do you all think about it?

I completely agree. Even if you think it's wrong, each individual is entitled to his or her own opinion.

Yes, I agree too. Nobody's able to do anything against loving somebody. Why not? if they want to, there's no reason against them I think. ( I hope you understand it)

^ Yep, I understood it. I'm glad you guys agree and support it. I know a lot of other people who are totally against it because it conflicts with religion, constitution and whatnot. Lucky me, I don't have a religion. =P I just think it's really screwy that the US is supposed to be the land of freedom and opportunity, but here they government is, trying to control who can marry as such. Total contradiction.

To expand on what Serena just said, and possibly make it more accurate: the idiots in the country make the most noise, the government listens to the idiots because they want them to shut the **** up, this pisses off everyone else (i.e. 95% of the population), which means the government has to make up an excuse as to why they supported the nation's retards in the first place. Fun cycle, but there ya have it

^ Well sorta... There's more people (that I know of) against it than are for it to be totally honest. Too many freaking homophobes about. And to be truthful, it's the asshole Republicans that are against it for the most part. Too many people whine about how it's unconstitutional, or going against religion. So the government supports those who are against which I find highly amusing for one reason. Seperation of Church and State. They're not supposed to influence each other. Morons.

Which is whatI was alluding to in my example directly above your post, Serena, it wasn't same-*** marriage, it was about sep. of church/state. Same basic concept though. Guess who the minority is now? Not the Dem's, let's put it that way

But can you try and explain why you don't like it other than "disturbing and wrong"? That really doesn't say much and it isn't a solid reason. And it is a way of life, there are lots of people who want to marry the one they love and just can't because it isn't allowed. I myself, honestly do not see how it affects other people and why they are so against it.

^ That they are. And it's just really not right. It's as bad as racism used to be, and sometimes still can be depending on the area. People think racists are so bad, well what about homophobes and anti-gays/bis? It's the same concept. You hate someone for their skin colour, or you hate someone for their sexuality. It is nothing based on the person inside. And these people are what screws the gays and bis out of their rights, just like they did to African Americans so long ago.

I don't really like racism it's really annoying even if it's your own race but sometimes it's good to crack a good racsim joke every once and awhile. But the 2 races that i just dispise is French and Mexicans. French- to scared to help the country that always helps them in war. Mexicans - cross the damn borders everyday and don't pay taxes and take our jobs that we can get as kids for a good start to get moneys.

I think Robin Williams put it quite nicely in Man of the Year: "There's no reason that *** and lesbian couples should not get married- they have the same right to be miserable as everyone else."
